How does AWS define cloud computing?

Amazon Web Services better know as AWS, one of the most important companies on cloud computing, define this term as the delivery of computing power, storage, database, apps and other It resources to clients, for a consume based price.  For example, If you have a enterprise who needs to share data, documents, photos and more, with people or others companies, you can use the Cloud Computing for this and safe money.

In other words AWS define cloud computing as a solution for anybody.

AWS define cloud computing consume based price

Before Cloud Computing, store data, files or apps the client had to buy a physical computing storage. The space in a server disk had a high price. The companies had to invest a great amount of money to used as storage. But that wasn’t the only problem with physical storage, you don’t only had to pay for the space, you had to maintain and manage it.

Cloud computing changed all that. Not only the “cloud storage” is more cheap, you don’t have to administrate anything or get in in charge of something you don’t want to, the company offering the service will do it for you.

AWS defines computing consume based price as a great option to save money. The price wouldn’t be linked to the space you buy, actually It’s linked to the space you use or consume. That give you more control over your cloud space and budget. So if AWS defines cloud computing in a word would be: better.

How AWS define cloud computing according to their models

Amazon Web Service can define cloud computing according to 3 models:

  1. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS): Even if you prefer to manage your cloud computing system you can do it with the IaaS or Infrastructure as a Service. This allows you to control every connection or database in the cloud infrastructure. As a service this give you more flexibility.
  2. Platform as a Service (PaaS): If you don’t want to manage infrastructure like hardware or Operative System but you wanna all the benefit that cloud computing have you can use Platform as a Service (PaaS). This allows you to concentrate in your own business and apps.
  3. Software as a Service (SaaS): With Software as a Service the only thing you have to worry about is use it. It’s like a final app where you don’t have to maintain it or worry for manage the underlying infrastructure.
